To reach out to hungry neighbors with supplemental and nutritious food items.
What We Do:
The Concern For Neighbors Food Bank is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that collects and distributes food to low income families and individual adults. The Food Bank currently serves an average of over 110 households per week. The Concern for Neighbors Food Bank staff is ALL volunteer.
Along with providing food for the hungry we are sometimes able to provide volunteer work for students or court ordered community service.
Our History: The churches of South Snohomish County began the Concern for Neighbors Food Bank in 1971. It started in the basement of the home adjacent to the current location where five volunteers served 18 clients.
Today – we have our own warehouse, two trucks, and two shipping containers for storage and approximately 60 volunteers. We are a member of the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition
We accept donations on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00am – 11:30am
We distribute food on Tuesdays from 9:30am to 11:30am
***Please bring bags or a box to put your food in as we are unable to provide extra bags.
